What is BlackVue’s Mobile Hotspot Function?

The BlackVue dash cam's Mobile Hotspot Function allows you to use your dash cam as a Wi-Fi access point for you and your passengers.

When you use the BlackVue LTE Connectivity Module in conjunction with a BlackVue dash camera that supports Mobile Hotspot Function, you can connect your dash cam to the BlackVue Cloud while also sharing the internet connection with other devices.

What devices can I connect to the BlackVue Mobile Hotspot?

With Mobile Hotspot Function, your compatible BlackVue can turn into a mobile internet router for up to five devices concurrently. This means you and your passengers can now use BlackVue's internet on your laptop, portable game console, tablet or mobile. To connect to the BlackVue, simply open your devices’ Wi-Fi menu, select the BlackVue and enter the dashcam’s Wi-Fi password.

How can I connect?

To connect, simply open the Wi-Fi menu on your device.

Next, find the BlackVue's SSID (network name) in the list of available networks, and enter the dash cam's Wi-Fi password.

Note that the SSID and password are printed on the dash cam's sticker in case you need them. Unmounting the dash cam reveals the sticker: unplug any power or video cables, press the LOCK button on the mount, and simultaneously pull on the dash cam.

What is the BlackVue CM100G LTE Module?

The BlackVue LTE Connectivity Module is built for hassle-free Cloud connectivity suitable for non-LTE-enabled BlackVue dash cam models like the DR900X, X Plus and DR750X/X Plus.

Its built-in LTE category 4 offers fast, uninterrupted access to the BlackVue Cloud. Simply insert an active SIM card and connect the module to your DR900X/DR750X or X-Plus dash cam to stay connected to enjoy the BlackVue Cloud features anytime, anywhere in the world.

Through this, you can also receive notifications on your phone when your parked car is hit. It also allows you to view what your dashcam sees in real time remotely. Drivers don't have to worry about the CM100LTE running out of power because it's powered by a dashcam, unlike a self-powered router.

All-Around Video Security: BlackVue DR750X - 2CH LTE Plus Dash Cam

The BlackVue DR750X-2CH LTE Plus is well-known for its built-in 4G LTE connectivity, which makes connecting to the Cloud simple.

For its image resolution, the DR750X-2CH LTE Plus front camera records at a wide 139° view angle at a higher 60 frames per second, giving you the smoothest image quality in daylight or night vision, thanks to an upgraded Full HD Sony STARVIS image sensor featuring a Full HD (1920×1080) @60fps and Full HD (1920×1080) @30fps for both front and rear cameras. Motion blur is greatly reduced with twice the number of frames per second, giving you important license plate detail even in fast-moving objects.

BlackVue DR750X-2CH LTE Plus automatically switches to Parking Mode when its Power Magic Accessories are installed to monitor your parked vehicle. The few seconds preceding triggering events are also recorded thanks to the video buffer. The BlackVue DR750X-2CH LTE Plus has two parking modes: Motion and Impact Detection. It also includes a time-lapse mode.

The BlackVue DR900X Plus is a fully-functional 4K UHD dash cam, whether you choose to use the optional LTE module and Cloud features or not. It sports the same 8MP CMOS image sensor as its predecessors, but BlackVue has installed a new image processor inside the DR900X Plus. As a result, the daytime and nighttime video quality are crisper with more refined details than the DR900X and DR900S.

Play recorded video clips remotely and back-up important ones to the Cloud or your phone. Monitor progress and access location data, GPS logs and Driving Reports courtesy of the realtime Live Tracking feature. Even broadcast Live to Facebook and YouTube.
